We All Live in a Pandemic Submarine

At Greatist, we're seasoned nesters who have always appreciated days home with the cats. But we're 2 weeks into self-quarantine, and it's... it's definitely different.

With the absence of physical space, our emotional space has gotten cramped with all the feels, including panic (which, jsyk, is a very human reaction during these wild times!).

To take the edge off, we've learned to breathe deeply and pivot. Pivot to prepare and prevent — because, like "High School Musical," we're all in this together. But unlike the kids of East High, we're going to be spending a lot of this time alone.

We can still thrive, though, especially with the safety of our communities in mind. We can be kind to ourselves so we can be around for others. And we'll keep you informed but not plugged in with the most important updates, through our newsletter and social channels.

To get you calm and geared up for the longer haul, here's a starter list of reads.

Signing off for a bath now,
