Move Your Body
Pack physical activity into your vacation
Whether you're hitting the beach or getting away for the weekend, you have plenty of opportunities to fit in physical activity and make it fun. Move as much as possible and explore the sights in a new environment by hiking, biking, walking or running. Or try an activity you've never done before, such as kayaking or rafting — you'll get a great workout while being adventurous at the same time. Bonus: Staying active will encourage healthy-eating choices, too. Think about how good it will feel to come back from your trip with happy memories — and a healthy body!

Today's Nutrition Tip
The importance of whole foods
Dietary supplements can complement your regular diet if you have trouble getting enough nutrients, but they aren't meant to be food substitutes. Whole foods — such as vegetables, fruits, whole grains and lean meats — provide more nutrition than supplements do and contain a variety of vitamins and minerals that are designed to work together. Reflect on your daily eats to make sure you're getting enough variety in your diet.
