When the weather starts warming up, all I want to eat are the freshest foods — the crisp, watery crunch of lettuce; light ceviche drizzled with lime; the icy, delicious bite of a margarita. But... delivery can get crazy expensive. I want to make like Antoni and wow guests with homemade guac like the summer goddess I am, which is why I'm snagging a copy of Marcela Valladolid's new cookbook: Fiestas. 

Inspired by her Mexican-American upbringing, the book is loaded with mouth-watering recipes that (here's the key) seem easy and fun to make. The holy grail of cookbooks, amiright? Valladolid — host of Food Network's Mexican Made Easy — takes you step-by-step through everything from lettuce cups to panzanella salad to watermelon frosé. YUM.
