"Fruits and vegetables support health. They can decrease the risk of certain cancers, lower cholesterol and offer many other health effects."— Donald D. Hensrud, M.D., M.P.H.
Healthy Recipe
Three-grain raspberry muffins
Who wouldn't love waking up to a warm, hearty muffin in the morning? Cornmeal gives these muffins a crunchy texture that pairs well with any sweet berry, from raspberries to blueberries. This recipe makes a dozen muffins, but you can easily freeze any extras in a zip-close plastic bag to have for breakfast or a snack another day. Add a dollop of plain Greek yogurt for a contrasting, creamy texture and an extra punch of protein.
